The Cathedral of the Grey Saint has stood in Vatira since the first years after the Fissure. We keep the old observances, we tend the Saints' Register, and we hold the Long Vigil each year as our grandmothers did before us. The doors are never locked during daylight bells. Service Times

All times are kept by the cathedral bells. On the holiest days the bells do not ring at all; the long silence is broken only by the bells at dawn.

On a holy day, the city wakes to no bell. The faithful keep the silence until the dawn bell breaks it. It is the most sacred sound we know.

The Still Gardens — where the aged faithful rest among the statues of the Saints.

Decrees & Observances — the warnings and judgments posted for the faithful's safety.
